No, probably not, Rayne. I didn't see it as a zombie flic. Zombies to me are corpses a'risen not brain damaged virally infected peeps scouring London or wherever. Plus, 28 Days goes into my top twenty films that were a waste of my time.

There is case for Voodoun (Use Serpant and the Rainbow if you'd like) the substance of legends combined to make a person in such a trance it's as if they're dead.

Now, I realize that the latter description is pretty close the 28 Days scenario. The reason I listed the Voodoun legend is because it is a major factor in all zombie mythos. I totally prefer and usually will only except the former description of zombies.

That's they way they work in this little Witch's imagination, and I don't care if they're shambling, running or hopping on pogo sticks. If they're dead, rotting, and eating people, they're zombies, otherwise, bugger off. This is just the way that I classify zombies.

Now someone roll their eyes, start a debate, and otherwise let's all be jackasses, because this all just opinion and who really gives a shit, right? Right.:D

Zombie doesn't mean undead, case closed.

Undead means what most consider a zombie.

Zombified is a term for someone or something that is infected/being controlled/mindless/ etc. Whatever. If my definition is inaccurate don't correct me i'll probably explode...:(

Why not, I'll get in on this.

I agree that the "Infected" were not zombies. However, I still consider 28 Days Later to be a zombie movie. Why? It's has the same formula. Small group trying to avoid hordes of mindless ______ whose only concern is to kill them. They find verious forms of shelter leading up to an inevitable conclusion. I dont care if you fill in the black with "flying plastic bags filled with pissed off cats", it's still a zombie movie in my book.

One of the definitions for Zombie is...

-A corpse revived by supernatural powers.

Another definition for Zombie is...

-One who looks or behaves like an automaton.

28 Days falls under the second description, therefor I'd say it's a zombie movie. That being said, before I really did the research I didn't look at it as a zombie film, but if that's the definition then that's the definition.

Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination

We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy
Explanation

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it

There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly wish to be

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it

There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly
Wish to be

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

And it fits the debate considering that we're talking about pure imagination.

Bloodrayne, does this movie have a scene where a man or woman has their insides come out of the mouth.

I think I remember this movie from when I was a kid. I had a sleepover and rented two movies, texas chainsaw massacre and I think this one...I don't remember anything about it except this evil guy would stare at people and they would vomit some of their insides. ( I had to keep turning away!)
