im not saying its the grates movie ever but i actually liked the first house of the dead, mabey cause i thought of it as an action movie not horror. ill admit the neither the acting or the plot were all that great but tha spanish conqiestidor zombies were bad ass.

I actually recorded a lovely looking high definition copy of HOUSE OF THE DEAD on my DVR the night that it premiered on Showtime a month or so ago, so that I could eventually take a look at it at my leisure. Well, that day finally came this past Friday & I only got about 10 minutes into it before I hit the Fast FWD button. And even then, I only got about halfway through the thing before giving up on it & erasing it's existence from my beloved machine.
Hell, not even the frequent topless scenes were worth viewing as there was obviously more plastic on display in them than in most of the zombie makeups! UGH!

I never saw this movie ( and from the sound of it that's a good thing). But anyway, I read a review that said you could actually see the "jump-pads" that throw the stunt men into the air in the background. ;)
Seriously, check out the Amazon reviews of this movie if you want a good laugh. One guy said he considered suicide after watching it ;)

I'm totally confused. Why would they make a House of the Dead 2? Like seriously I would really like to know one reason why they are going to. It bombed in the theaters, all the critics hated it, all the fans hated it, the DVD sales were meager, and it was considered blasphemy from every serious horror fan.

What the HELL could be there reason for this? Do they think they're going to make money? Cause they aren't, they're only going to lose it.

You think after the failures of this and Alone in the Dark they would stop making movies about horror video games.

Anyone have a clue as to why they're doing this? I'm really interested.
