The Great Escape......haven't seen this one in years...what a great movie and great cast. 3 hours just flew by.

The Fall

Tarsem Singh totally redeems himself for the disaster that was The Cell in this epic fairy-tale that hits the perfect balence between childhood innocence, magic realism and the pain of real life. Anyone who loved Pan's Labyrinth or Terry Gilliam's underrated Tideland will dig this visually stunning work of art.

This easily hits my top 10 for 2008

I Know What you Did Last Summer.

I've been on this teen slasher kick ever since I wrote my essay. (Got a great grade on my first draft, thanks to all your help :D) Something is seriously wrong with me though. I rearely cringe at the worst horror movies but recently I can't even deal with seeing m ovies like Scream and IKWYDLS. I get all paniced and have to look away sometimes. It's so strange. I need a diagnosis.

Fixing The Shadow

Really enjoyed watching this one again. Michael Madsen should make more biker movies because he's great in this one and Hell Ride.

Just watched The Spiderwick Chronicles.




I generally enjoy the occasional children's movie, especially if there's decent CGI and well-crafted beasties.

That being said, never before have I wanted to shoot a child in the face more than I have while watching this film. I HATE child actors. I HATE pandering scripts for "children's movies." And I HATE interesting stories that should have made fun films.

1.5/5 (that extra .5 is for the cool looking monsters)
