			Hmmm... I don't really think Kurosawa set out to make Kairo a straight-out "scare the pants off you" type film. It's much more a study of isolation and nihilistic despair than it is a straight horror movie. Anyway, I thought it was a brilliant film, one of my favorites now, in fact.

			I thought this was an excellent movie,much more than I expected.I assumed this was going to be a simple ghost story tale in the tradition of your standard J-horror films,it's much more than that in terms of scope and storytelling...it's apocalyptic and has become a favorite of mine aswell.
