I've heard of some systems doing that once in a while but mine have always been ok I guess but really moving it is super bad. We were over at a friends house all playing games and a buddy moved the XBOX360 from laying down to standing up... you should have head the crunching sound that ensued. Cringe inducing...

I keep mine laying down too, stood in on its side for 3 days and decided I'd rather be safe than sorry. Interestingly enough I know a girl who left her PS2 on for a week and now it won't work in the laying down position.

when I shake my Xbox something rattles..It did this last time before I had it repaired, Im not sure if it did it while it was working or not..

What in the hell are you shaking it for :D I think that is normal as there is something in there that moves so it knows what position it is standing in, for the lights to light up.
