You should get

Dead Rising (should be fairly cheap now too)
The Orange Box (and AMAZING experience from HL2 to Portal)
Bioshock (of course)
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (seriously, it's fun)

and while there are many more I could suggest, without knowing what your kid's favorite games are I'd be grasping at straws.

well, i got :

Bioshock :)
Quake 4 (always stick with the standards)
Halo 3 (the special ed. with the helmet)
Rattatoille

and the xbox 360

i'll get dead rising next for sure.


also - went to a garage sale and got a nice deal for 10$

4 Gameboy colour games (all pokemon)
4 N64 Games (2 still in boxes)
1 N64 comtroller
1 gameboy colour - working.

and some various cables.

2 of the N64 games were doubles so we traded them in for 8$ credit at EB games.

2 of the gameboy colour games are doubles and i'll get credit for them at another place (probably $5 each)

so i will have gotten all that other stuff for free along with about $8 :D

Nice haul!

Don't forget Orange Box, not only is HL2 (along with the episodes 1 & 2) an amazing zombie filled giant robot destroying adventure but you HAVE to play Portal. Portal is mind bending and so darkly funny that it deserves to be tried by everybody.

It's a fun game but it can be INFURIATING to the point of not wanting to play it anymore. If you make a mistake with the time thing then you may not have enough time to finish later missions and end up having to start over. Real pain in the ass sometimes.

Picked up a bargain bin Gamecube game called "Odama"....it's weird as hell and I'm not sure if I like it, but it's strange enough that I'm willing to keep playing.

Anyone here familar with it? It comes with a Microphone and shit, it's like pinball but you have an army and you need to give them orders. Like I said, it's bizarre.

I had hear about it but those mic games really seem to fall short. Like that one where you talk the girl through things to escape a place... wow, could I be more vague? Anyway, like I said, I usually skipped the mic games. Let me know what you think, I love my GC.

Lifeline? I have that one. I almost beat it, but it glitched most of the way through the game, and I couldn't get the key to open a door. :/
