so yeah, I get to the hospital. wait three hours, get a whole shitload of tests done to me, then the doctor looks at my throat, and sees an "abrasion". then send me home TWO HOURS LATER, with a cough syrup, an inhaler, and antibiotics subscriptions. And having no insurance, and being basicly poor, I owe the hospital a shit load of money. I get home at about 3-4am and my chest was hurting so bad, all I could do was lay there and nod in and out for 4 hours. so then, I get up at about 9, and eat some soup at about 11, then while im in the shower i get a coughing fit so bad that I lose everything i just ate. All in all, its a great fucking day :mad:

no they just said I have the flu and bronchitis... are you trying to scare me or something? I mean isn't the bird flu deadly? and wouldn't they keep me in the hospital for that?

broncitus,lol......they told me that shit too, and thats because i went to the hospital with a broken arm...the hospitals dont know what there doing, sometimes i think there the cause for people getting more sick....write a will, the avian bird flu is deadly.

Dude... Whiskey two shots, honey, lemon and hot tea. Mix together (after the tea has cooled a little. Throw it back. It'll open you up and make you sleep for a while. Or you can skip the tea, but the heat from the tea is very soothing.

Yeah the tea sounds nice, the whiskey though... with my throat having "abbrasions" might not be such a good idea. Anyways if I had some whiskey I would try it, so I'll just go for the tea and honey and lemon. Thanks for your concern though.

i had a similar flu - the sore throat wasn't just 'generally sore' but had a serious sore that was so bad that when i turned over in bed it would 'hurt' the abrasion and wake me up.
it went away after a couple of weeks
