				I'm Disappointed

The more famous j-horror films I've seen (Ju-on, Ringu, Dark Water, and The Eye) are just not enjoyable to me. Ju-on and Ringu are lacking in plotline and are just not very scary. Dark Water was more boring than frightening and The Eye was the best of them. It's possible I started off watching Audition and Kairo and my expectations became too high (seeing as how those are the two best horror films I've ever seen,) so I need to find another really good j-horror film to keep me going. Something disturbing and/ or creepy which won't leave me feeling disappointed. Thanks a bunch |

You should give Shutter a try. And if that suck as well, give up Asian horror and stick with your piece of crap American Slasher movies. ;)

Though not a horror movie per se but has anyone seen Oldboy. The best movie i have seen anywhere from anyone in the last ten years. |

Yeah give 'Shutter' a try. It's awesome. You know, you might not like Japanese horror for the same reason people can't watch classic old black and white movies-- they just can't adapt to the time period/style. Give it a chance, you might surprise yourself.
