horror featuring Jesus freaks
After recently seeing Die! Die! My Darling for the first time and loving it, I realized that few things are scarier than Jesus freaks. What are some other horror films worth seeing that feature Jesus freaks?

Frailty immediately comes to mind. Bill Paxton was friggin great in that film.

[Bill Paxton picks up his axe] ... And you can't escape God's wrath! LOL! Another older movie that featured religious nuts was Children of the Corn. But I can't really think of too many other horror films where religious fanatics played the "bad guys." I think this is a great untapped resource in the horror genre. I mean, nothing scares the shit out of me more than people like Jerry Falwell. :eek:

This really does seem to be an untapped area in horror. Why do you think that is? It seems like such a perfect theme for horror.
