ok this is getting stuiped hollywood needs to get a fucking life insted they have to remake good cult classics i mean come on there never going to find a new vincent price its fucking hoples

Im a HUGE Vincent Price fan, but you have to admit: He didnt really do much in The Fly. The Cronenberg version with Jeff Goldblum was twice as good.

Now if they were thinking of remaking Dr. Phibes or Pit and the Pendulum...that would be another story all together.

On a related note i read today that David Cronenberg is looking to produce an Opera based on The Fly,now that would be worth watching!

In all honesty, Cage wouldnt be awful casting in a Pit and the Pendulum remake. Not in the Price role of course, but he could do a decent job as Leon or Francis.
