I had completely forgotten they were remaking this until I saw commercials the other day. the commercials made me ill and they were only 90 seconds. I think having to sit through the full length version would probably be the end of me.

The thing is, cos the original was so individual and distinctive, they could have done something to make it completely different - more of an 'influenced by' than a remake. It's just a half-updated, half-not version, but with none of the suspense of fear.
ItsAlive, if you must watch it, wait for the DVD.
