Joe D'amato film...anyone seen it how is it and how is the gore rating 1-10

I was pretty disappointed. I had heard that it was such an extreme film, and that was not what I saw. On a 1-10 scale, I'd rate the gore at about a 4. Some people love this film, but I was not impressed at all.

Bear in mind there are cut versions about, and there are some impressive sequences in this film including the visceral bathroom decapitation sequence.
The characters (particularly the woman) have a nasty presence about them, and D'Amato's unmistakable edge of cold extremity is present and correct in places.
