It would be badass if he did and added bub and some of the other memorable characters in the film.But it has to be bloodier than ever. I heard this rumor on the special features on house of the dead.

I haven't seen House of the dead but from what I hear it sucked. I think I heard about the twilight thing on the Day Of The Dead dvd on the special features.

Romero has been talking about this for years. I read in some fanzine a year or so ago that Anchor Bay had agreed to put up a third of the budget for exclusive video rights, a third was coming from the Italian backers of Dawn (Argento?), and that Romero was still looking for a final backer. On the IFC docu American Nightmares Romero talked about making the Hollywood circuit and unsuccessfully pitching the idea to studio heads. He did seem a little more sure of himself in the House of the Dead docu, though.

yeah he's been wanting to do this for years. would be great. maybe with the dawn remake it'll give things a boost?

In every interview I've heard he said it will not be called Twilight of the Dead but Dead Reckoning. Anyway I wish he would finally return to the zombie genre and make it the goriest one of them all, mine as well go out with a bang.
