Horror Movie Categories From REAL Horror Fans
Traditional Horror Movie categories don't really break things down the way that a true horror fan might...Here are some of mine...Feel free to add your own...
These are my top picks for each of these categories: Scary: I'm afraid that I can't really come up with anything "scary"...I'm still waiting for THAT Cheesy: Toxic Avenger CGI Overdone: Anaconda Fucked Up Weird: Cemetary Man Gory: Gates of Hell(aka City Of The Living Dead) or Dead Alive(Brain Dead)...Or pretty much anything by Lucio Fulci Turn Your Stomach Gory: Gore Gore Girls Comedy/Horror Cool: Idle Hands Mind Fuck: In The Mouth Of Madness Kickass Cool: Dog Soldiers Kickass Cool (but weird): May Creepy Cool: Pet Sematary 'Scare The Hell Out Of The Kids' Scary: It (until the very end, when the "monster" is revealed, then it goes to cheesy) So...What are YOUR opinions?
