that was the Jim Baker religious show ..
when i was a young lad, taken to drink .. we'd come home from the bars and this thing would be on .. we'd sit there half in the bag watching Jim bless a pile of cheques (donations) it was something else .. (i'm pretty sure it stands for Praise the Lord)
