I didn't know they released a soundtrack for Gift. That would definatley be worth getting a copy of.

a couple more :

Adam Ant .... who was in several films
John Doe .. (From 'X' )
a number of musicians were in that coffee western (Joe Strummer, Elvis Costello, etc)
Courtney Love ... who isnt a bad actress at all ...

Jewel was in Ride with the Devil (ang lee film)

hmm looked him up...and he has played in a bunch of movies (most tv)...never been a Ant fan though

Rob Halford cracked me up in Spun..... NEVER try to fuck Mickey Rourke :p Billy Corgan turning up in that movie kinda ruined it for me tho someone should put that whining 'lil bitch outta his misery.

Lee Ving from Fear has had a couple of cool villan roles aswell. I watched Streets of Fire the other night and he turned up in that.

But yeh I think Tom Waits has already been mentioned I really enjoyed a lot of his preformances especially the Jim Jarmuch film Down By Law.

i forgot Lee Ving ..

he was in that movie Dudes as well ..about the punk kids in the country ...
