The house by the cemetary

Is that the movie in which(in the beginning) a man tries to hang himself in a lamp, but the lamp falls down? If not, does anyone remember which movie that is from?

I own house by the cemetary.. but I havent seen it for over a year and for some reason I dont remember a scene like that in it..someone else will pass along and help u

for some odd reason I get this movie mixed up with city of the living dead.. I mean they are totally different but I still seem to mix them up.. but I do not recall a scene like this.. if you watch it post to let us know ... :)

Not House by the Cemetery. Just stuck it in and it opens with the gory murder of a girl (knife to the upper neck, bloody blade protruding from mouth---ouch). Then it cuts to the family moving to the zombie-haunted house and plot stuff ensues.

I knew that scene about the lam didnt sound familiar on house by the cemetary.... great scene with the knife to the neck ...

I seam to recall something from the title of this movie im looking for. In Norwegian its called "Nødskrik fra hybelhuset" or something like that, but how to translate it, i have no idea :P Moonsorrow can you help me?

I just found out! Its called "Silent scream".Its about a guy called Scotty Parker.
