			Dawn of the Dead re-releases are different to The Lord of the Rings issue. At least Romero's movie had been genuinely edited to suit different (European & USA) audiences, which someone obviously thought was a good idea at the time. Then there is the element of its various censored editions, and some sought after cutting-room-floor footage. Compare this to the drooling producers of the Rings trilogy... deliberately holding back on perfectly useable footage until a re-release opportunity is ripe. |
