Anybody seen it ? Its a very nice french slasher/giallo movie...

these are the directors who's films turned me into a rabid movie fan to begin with !
and now there's Besson as well.

I started Vidocq last night when i was too tired ... I fell asleep
(subtitles will do that when i'm really sleepy) but the film was kicking ass ... incredibly beautiful visuals - rich and layered.
I'm looking forward to finishing it ..

contrary to you i didn't like the acting, story nor visuals ! for me the only thing pitoff really took care of was the form ( not always great... ugh the special effects ) and forgot to tell a story ( which i found lacking ). and if any of you speak french... the dialogue is so laughable at times it unbelievable ( not at all coherent with the time it's supposed to take place in ).

but this is all just my own modest opinion. ;)
