Not really, but who are some of your favorite punk bands?


Some of mine:

(older)- Sex Pistols, Misfits, the Buzzcocks, the Ramones, Black Flag,UK Subs, Elvis Hitler, GBH, and Fear


(newer)- NOFX,Ten Foot Pole, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, $wingin Utter$, Lagwagon, Dropkick Murphies, the Queers,the Bouncing Souls, Sick of It All,Millencolin, and Guttermouth.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!I cant believe I forgot Minor Threat and TSOL!I also forgot the Dead Kennedys and the Circle Jerks!

DK and Circle Jerks are good. Dead Milkmen also, Generation X, Oxymoron, Blanks 77, The Business, The Adicts, some more i cant think of now

Ghetto? 3 rich jewish boys from New York, hardly hardcore.. Mike D is Neil Diamond's kid, for christs sake....

Sorry to crap on your thread...

I really hate punk. Anyone can sing like that. The 3 chord guitar riffs are a joke, almost as much as the drums are.

The only talented person in a "good" punk band is the bassist. There are exceptions, but they are few and far between.

Actually i hate to poop on your guys time but the Beastie Boys "were" punk listen to Egg Raid on Mojo from the album "Some old bullshit" In fact listent to the whole fucking thing. Sorry if i got you confused with the newer Beastie Boys :rolleyes:

Before they started rapping they had a punk band.Im not sure, but I think the drummer from Luscious Jackson was in the band.
