The Player

A brilliantly dark indictment of the Hollywood system and its cliches while keeping all the elements of a Hollywood noir thriller. Murder, sex, guilt, blackmail, more stars than any picture in history, it's Altman's love/hate letter to the Hollywood system that had no patience for him anymore.

A+

About damn time, Des.:p

I knew you were gonna love it once you got around to watching it. The movie is just fabulous, from the opening car chase scene (which is breathtaking) to the twisted ending. This movie ranks very high in my action-horror dept.

Dont bother much about the sequel though, Des & BR. Apart from some 1-2 scenes of slight gore, there's nothing much in it, story-wise or action-wise. A very disappointing sequel to a really promising and potential original.

I am watching a bunch of drive-in theatre clips and ads, like popcorn and hot dog advertisements and so on. Intermission type stuff. It's almost better than a movie!

Thanks for that info...I read the description of the movie (part 2) as I was about to purchase it...It's description sounded pretty bad, it seemed like it would be more of an action-type movie than horror...So, I appreciate your confirmation :)...I'm gonna pass on that one

Just watched Cameron's Closet...Didn't love it...Didn't hate it...Glad I watched it...It was alright

OH...and...I've owned 4th Floor for years...I really like that one...It seems that not many people have seen it...I bought it at the same time I bought Office Killer...I LOVE Office Killer :)

You are most welcome. I know your love for the bad movies, but this one is so bad its terrible. Just dont waste your money.

Buy some Troma giftpack for that same money. Class of Nuke Em High trilogy, maybe? ;)
