I really liked both movies but liked Get Shorty better, my fiance however thought Be Cool was better and the plot was more solid. Anyway, both good films, how's the Be Cool dvd? Lots of extras?

As for MI 3 I want to go just to see the Hanso Foundation thanked in the credits.

On the whole Tom Cruise thing, I dont mind his acting at all. He's been in alot of great films, most of which Cheeba listed. The thing that I cant stand about the guy is how you cant turn around without seeing his face or hearing some pointless detail of his personal life. I couldnt care less about his new baby, or what he did on Oprah, or what he believes in...if I had my way I wouldnt even know about it. Gets on my nerves.

Anyway, back on topic...still a similar topic though...

Mission: Impossible III

Explosions, car chases, helicopters and non-stop action...what else would you expect? I was actually really surprised with this movie to be honest. Not having seen the other 2 films in the series I didn't really know what to expect, however I had it pegged as a brainless action flick. Though I wasn't exactly wrong in that assumption, it was better than your typical brainless action flick. Tom Cruise does a pretty good job as usual, but he wish more of his screen time would have been used on the supporting cast, Philip Seymour Hoffman in particular. He was a great villain, but we didn't get to see him nearly as much as I would have liked. Simon Pegg's small role was great as well. The plot was basic and straight-forward, but definitely exciting. I wish they would have spent less time on the whole family aspect though, a pointless and failed attempt to give the movie a deeper meaning. The effects were great of course, but the bridge scene went on way too long. It was like they had an explosion quota they had to meet. Despite it's flaws, however, it put a smile on my face, put me on the edge of my seat and kept me entertained for it's duration. Abd in the end, that counts for more than you'd expect.

7.5/10

Amen. He's a great actor, leave the gossip bullshit for People Magazine.

Jungle Holocaust

The alligator part was just so fucked up...and it makes me sick to know it's 100% real.

I just watched The Punisher with Dolph Lundgren. I thought it was pretty good. Maybe I'll see the 2004 version.

I agree that he has made some good movies in his career, but I have to disagree with you about anyone prying into his personal life. If you want to keep your personal life private, don't put the shit out there for people to see. Don't behave like a freaking weirdo in public and people won't pry so much.

Tamara- 2.5/5

First off, I'm getting tired of these "bullied girls who turn into sociopathic killers" horror movies. I just wanted to get that off of my chest awhile. Anyway, Tamara had some interesting kills, but the plot flopped. At times it seemed like you were watching a slasher flick, then the next minute it feels like you're watching a drama. The movie could not make up its mind. And, it felt like Carrie half of the time, which really seemed to bother me (though, this wou;d've made for a better The Rage: Casrrie 2).
