Chicken Little
I'd just like to point out that if this were a real story, Chicken Little would be cutting himself and committing suicide. Why? Well, everybody makes fun of him because he thought the sky was falling, his dad is disappointed in him, and the world is making fun of this incident with bumber stickers, books, and even a movie. These are the signs of a suicidal kid. But, all of this suicidal shit aside, Chicken Little wasn't much of a fun ride. It was more and less bumpy. The characters were stale and had no characteristics. And the pig (whatever his name is) reminded me of Max from A Goofy Movie. The plot wasn't good, since the world is falling incedent aftermath was played out for about an hour, only leaving us with about 15 minutes of the sky really falling. I hate to say, but the story wasn't believable one bit. I'm not referring to the invasion, I'm referring to the actions and insults everybody made towards Chicken Little. All in all, Chicken Little should just be passed by. 1 and a half stars out of 5 |

you gave it a higher rating than i did .. i thought it was unbearable. unengaging characters .. it was like a parody of a likeable film. it just shows how detached the filmmakers are from what kids are like these days - and what they think is cool. |

I have no intention of seeing it myself in the near future, however I do know some kids that really liked it.

House of the Dead 2
This is hands-down the most surprising movie so far this year! I would've never thought that a sequel to one of the shittiest movies ever made could be so much damn fun! I didn't catch it on Sc-Fi (because that channel sucks and cuts too much shit out), and I don't know if it had tits and gore, but the DVD release was packed with it. Tits galore and gore amore! Now, there are some flaws in this stellar sequel. First of all, the opening sucked major donkey-dong. It sucked Donkey Kong's dong. Supersoakers and an invasion of a slumber party was not the way to go. Especially since there were no titties to go with it (except for that wet t-shirt). Also, the opening credits were dumb as hell! I didn't like the clips they added with the opening credits. They just seemed too rushed. Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding from House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects) has a cameo in this movie, but doesn't stay long. I honestly believe it was because he didn't want to be there. I mean, he didn't do to much of a good job with his small role (it wasn't bad, just wasn't good either). But, that's just my humble opinion. All of this aside, House of the Dead 2 was a pleasuring masturbation of a film! Don't let the House of the Dead title throw you off. This is nothing like the original. Hell, this was what the original should've been like! 4 out of 5 stars |

The Giant Gilla Monster
From a critical point of view, this is by no means a good film. The actors are bad, the script is bad, the effects are laughable, and many points of the plot are more out of place than a zombie would have been. But I'll be a monkey's uncle if this wasn't a fun movie to watch! Though he might not be the greatest actor, Don Sullivan just oozes with that classic 50's charm that the whole movie has. Gotta love how lightly they took drunk driving back then! The ending was made pretty obvious within the first 10 minutes, but I'll admit they did a good enough job distracting me from it so it was unexpected in the end. Ah, and then the Gilla monster itself...didn't look convincing in the least of course, but the miniature sets did look quite realistic, surprisingly enough. Overall if you're looking for a good movie, look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you're looking for a fun, cheesy b-movie ride through the 50's, this is the perfect vehicle! 7.5/10
