Picnic at Hanging Rock.

Peter Weir is a master of symbolism.

Miss Petigrew Lives For A Day

Surprisingly sweet and fun, This novel adaptaion feels like the best kind of old-time screwball comedy. Frances McDormand is great (as ususal) and Amy Adams is incadescent. If you are a guy with a theater-loving girlfriend, this film will make both of you happy.

If all you want is horror, steer clear.

8/10

Full Metal Yakuza.
For the most part, a low budget Robocop rip-off. Again, the plot becomes thin from middle onwards. Not much action either as the title would suggest.

The Fugitive ... been ages since i saw this last... still kind of fun thanks to a fairly rich supporting cast.

Samurai Cop (1989)

Hysterical. I don't usually recommend trash unless it's the golden goose, and here it is.

Don't Torture a Duckling (1972)

Right up there among Argento's greatest giallos.

The Children (1980)

Eh...not bad. The premise gets old fast, but it's got a surprisingly shocking ending.

Saw 4- 5/10

Wasted potential. Good kills but that was about it. I watch these for the twist shocker endings... This one failed in a plothole filled stinkfest.
