great suggestions, these are specifically the kind im looking for. Avenging Force was also one of the old VHS's I found in the basement of my old school, never grabbed it though, sadly.

Some of Dudikoff's films were great fun to watch. He did some shitty ones too though.

One of my favorites from the 80s. See if you can hunt this down...

I haven't seen much of his stuff outside of the American Ninja flicks which are essential viewing!

I've been meaning to check out Runaway Train. Might hire it this weekend. Quite a different vehicle for Cannon films really.

Another rec:

I'm sure more will come to me.

Been wanting to check this one out:

...anyone seen it?

Yep its really good. I really dug the atmosphere and acting in that one. Some powerful stuff between Roberts and Voight. And a kickass climactic sequence to boot.

Saw it long ago. Dont remember much except that it was very similar to Missing in Action and Carradine looked pretty badass in it.

And re: Cannon - they did some pretty average stuff which werent handled by Golam-Globus. I thought those two were Cannon's best filmmakers.

Sam Firstenberg is my favorite director when it comes to the Cannon stuff. Joseph Zito did some great stuff too. But yeh there were a bunch of average flicks brought out by some of their directors especially during the 90s.

I'll move onto Dudikoff after I've watched all the Van Damme and Seagal flicks I've yet to see.

I've been looking out for a tape of Cherry 2000 for ages. I didn't like it as kid but I'd totally enjoy the fuck out of it these days.
