New Website?
So the subject of a new horror website was briefly discussed in the site suggestions section. As I understand the site owner has taken off and once things like the domain name and hosting package he selected have expired for the year or however long they got it for this website will cease to exist.
I wanted to know how everyone felt about the idea of a new website being built for when this happens. Would you be interested in a new website? Would you come and post there when you are no longer able to post here? As you all know websites cost money. Depending on what you use to build it with you have the domain name, hosting for the website and the forum, and if you use a template most of the good ones cost money, sometimes a decent amount of it. I have basic html knowledge which is certainly not enough to build a website that would look good in the least bit in terms of what I would want for everyone but I can do graphic work and would consider myself mediocre at best. In a new website I would like to have a site along with a forum. On the website I would want to keep it updated constantly with movie or horror related reviews, interviews and other articles. I spoke to hammer about this and the idea of launching a Kickstarter perhaps to try to raise the money to do this. I don't have much money at all and considering how new I am here if we were to take this route, I would prefer a trusted member of the forum to run the champagne. But first thing's first, what are all of your thoughts on the subject?

You can pay for your url for 10 years in advance. You can pay for the forum like a yearly bill and the server aswell. I doubt if Horror.com is leaving anytime soon.
