Hey! I'm pretty new to these forums but thought I would chime in to let others know about an independent horror film I'm trying to make. This is not a movie I'm trying to make for fame or fortune. This is a horror film I'm making for the love of horror films and because I don't think there's anything better than a fun horror flick. I've been making short films for 7 years now and this is my first big effort in the realm of feature filmmaking and it's definitely been a challenge considering how small our budget was at the start of production ($500) compared to how much the typical independent feature film costs (around $20,000). I wrote this film, I'm shooting every single shot, I'm directing the actors and I will be editing the film by myself. We've shot about half of the movie but now the remaining half of the film needs its share of props, costumes and lighting equipment to truly make it work. I started an Indiegogo Fundraiser page for the film and we are hoping that some people out there will want to help make this movie become a reality. Every little contribution helps and there are even sweet rewards we will be sending out to contributors like personalized thank-you videos, signed posters and even the ability to become an executive producer of the film!
