Alan Wake's American Nightmare
The forces of good and evil square off in this follow-up to the spooky Alan Wake. The titular hero and novelist finds himself up against Mr. Scratch, a shadowy villain whose twisted origins are wrapped up in the recesses of Alan's own mind. The story has Alan hunting down his evil urban-myth-turned-real doppelganger that’s trying to kill his wife.

I liked the first one but it got really repetitive after awhile. I'll still probably check it out though.

I still need to play the first one. I think I'll pick it up on the cheap in anticipation for this.

I remember some two years before it came out, perhaps even longer, there were pictures of Alan Wake.
I so badly wanted to play it. Then, I finally did. Didn't really grab me, though that said I played it at a friends place, couldn't really politely absorb myself in a single player game (I hate when people even bring this up when they're over at my place...it's like, there's no point for starters as they won't get into it, and kind've antisocial really) so I just had a quick look...and yeah "interesting" but hasn't demanded of my my attention to go and grab it as yet, it's just one of those "Yeah, I'd play that one day" games. This one looks great though, and may serve as incentive enough to get back into the first one, which at very least looked like a product of quality. The premise kind've reminds me of an over-the-top "The Dark Half".
