Atari resurrecting "Haunted House"!
Back in 1981 Atari released 'Haunted House' on their 2600 system. And looking back at it, it really looks ridiculous. One of the original 'horror' games looking at it you really wonder how anyone could have ever been scared by the game.
Atari is sticking to their roots though. As you head back into the Graves Mansion 30 years after your grandfather disappeared without a trace inside the mansion. This game will be quite a bit more in depth than its predecessor obviously with a 30 year gap in the games. You will again be in search of pieces of the urn in order to defend your families legacy. “The glowing eyes and mysterious urn of Haunted House still resonates with gamers who made the original franchise a blockbuster hit,” says Jim Wilson, President of Atari. “Atari looks forward to introducing a new generation of gamers to the fun and suspense of Graves Mansion and bringing families together with the magic that is Haunted House.” Check out the pics - http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/videogames/930/ The game is looking at a fall release on the PC, Nintendo Wii, and Xbox 360.

Loved that game when it came out.
Not sure if a new version will be so interesting though. Seems a bit simplistic for a modern-day game.
