Indy Horror Film 'Reunion' - Looking For Friends & Funding!

My name is Ryan McLelland - if anyone reads Ain't It Cool News you may recognize my name as a contributor. Or you may not... but it's all good.

Currently we are in pre-production on an urban zombie film titled 'Reunion' - work continues as we just started a 'KickStarter' to try to raise part of the budget.

It's my first time producing and it has already been a tough haul. Raising money sucks...Hollywood makes films for millions and seems to have tons of money to put into their own productions. We are just hoping to raise what we need to film.

So I figured I'd start looking around for forums to talk about the project and found the forums here at Horror.com.

What we hope to do with Reunion is something a bit different then your average zombie flick...the genre is already so filled with so many different type of zombie films that it is hard to do something that is truly 'original'. We hope to produce a film that has a great gritty urban feel to it - think 'The Wire' meets 'Dawn of the Dead'.

It's going to be a project that depends on our family, friends, and those who love the horror genre. Any advice, anything you would want to say, all comments are certainly most welcome as well! We have two months to raise our funds...here's hoping it really works!
