Evil Dead And Army Of Darkness
I was not ever really sure, is Evil Dead and Army of Darkness the same movie? And if they were, why did they only make sequels for Evil Dead?

Army of Darkness is a sequel to Evil Dead II so basically Army of Darkness is Evil Dead III, just with a different title.

army of darkness is evil dead 3, sam got the money to make the film from dino de laurentis with the agreement that he couldn't use "evil dead" in the title.
