Best 80's slashers

I was wondering if there was a list of classic 80's slashers. Would like to know what ones people liked.
Just a small list to start it.
1. Friday the 13th
2. Mothers Day
3. Halloween
4. Nightmare on Elm St
5. Happy B-day to me
6. Mad man
7. The Prowler

A nightmare on Elm Street is my favourite 80's slasher flick. In fact for years it was my favourite movie, horror or otherwise.

My favorite movie of all time is Halloween. Although if Im not mistaken it came out in 78 or 79.
I really liked Trick or Treat to. The Wraith and Fright Night were pretty good 80s movies. Neither was really a slasher movie though.

Fright Night really holds up. And not to knock the thread even further off-course, but Horror in the 80's can pretty much be summed up for me with Return of the Living Dead. John Russo was a genius.

I have always like April Fool's Day as well. Saw Sleepaway Camp for the first time last year, its goofy fun. Though I will say, I avoided the twist for years, only to be spoiled by the back cover when I finally got a copy....

A Nightmare On Elm Street of course. Halloween WAS released in the late seventies though. Trick or Treat is one of my favorites, so is My Bloody Valentine. Night of the Demons is pretty entertaining. I have also always been pretty partial to Terror Train, its fun.

There's also The Burning, which I have never seen, because I can't seem to find it.

They've already been mentioned but....
Friday the 13th 1-5
Return of the Living Dead 1&2
Nightmare on Elm St. 1&2
And of course the best Horror/Slasher franchise ever.....

Halloween 1,2,4,5 (pt. 3 is not a slasher)
