The Meyers Family

This is a question from the original Halloween series. Has anyone else ever wondered.

1- Why if Laurie Strode/ Meyers faked her death why did she leave her daughter behind and not take her with her when she seemed so protective of her son in H2O?

2- What happened to the baby that Jamie gave birth too in Halloween The Curse of Micheal Meyers, it was last seen being taken by Tommy Doyle and the woman (I cant remember her name)?

3- What happened to Laurie's son when his mother was taken to the Mental Institution where she was killed in Resurrection

Not sure if anyone else has ever wondered about these things so I wanted to put the thoughts out there and see what others thought.

1- H20 mostley ignored 4, 5, and 6 as if they never happend. Its been a while since Ive watched H20. Was Jamie ever even mentioned?

2- Dont know.

3- He was almost grown in H20. Like I said, its been a while so I cant rember if that was a high school or a college. Either way, he moved out Im guessing.

Yeah. It's simply for the fact that Halloween 4,5, and 6 do not exist in the continuity featuring H20.

You could pretend that perhaps John was born after Laurie faked her death and make it work. I know Jamie has a pic of her mother in Halloween 4 and act as if she misses her a lot. But perhaps Laurie faked her death when Jamie was 2 or 3. Perhaps Jamie just says she misses her when in fact she doesn't even remember anything about her. Just a mother/child instinct or something. The pic that Jamie has is obviously a very old photo.

Just one way of making it work.

You could also throw in the fact that Laurie is so overly protective of John because she's kept up with what all went on back in Haddonfield over the years. She knows that her dauther didn't make it and she doesn't want the same thing to happen to her son.
