The Exorcist: The Scarriest Movie Of All Time...?
This movie was good, but I think it is overrated as the scariest movie of all time. I think it has to do with the religious aspect of the movie. It has the same impact of passion of the christ, which is a 2 hour display of torture, which would be good viewing for some sick goths. Not to mention that Passion has grossed a lot of mooney. This movie scared people because that demons possessing people is religious truth, and religion makes up the major idea of what everyone believes in. The thing that makes this move scary to most people is the fact that this can happen (based on religious truth of course) and it ignites the beliefs that were taught to them when they were young.
I would appreciate if people would share their opinions to me about this movie. Thank You.

I totally agree. Its within the realm of possibilities. Thus making all the more terrifying. When you combined this with the fact that demons are fallen angels you come to the idea that the fallen are interacting with us.....The next logical progression is the ask whether god interacts with us. Most people would say he doesnt...leaving us the demons and devils. Quite disturbing if your a christian.

This movie can also scare muslims as well. I being a muslim, know that in the Quran (the muslim holy book) states that "gins" or demons do exist and can possess the body of humans who practice satanic rituals and stuff like that.

Religious truth is a phrase I made up. I dont really know if it is a real thingy. Oh by the way, I dont hate jews because I am muslim. And All those styreotypes are false. How do you feel if I said all white people are trailer trash bums who have sex with their family? And they are all smelly redneck fucks who have 3 teeth? How does that make you feel?
