Other than Inglourious Basterds, I'm gonna have to give this Summer a resounding yawn.

That's true. That one might be worth checking out. I'm just kind of bummed because last Summer was really something.

Awww - You're not a Trekkie?

I'm kinda geeking out over that one.

But otherwise, I agree with you.

I'm pretty much only excited for Wolverine, Transformers 2 and Terminator. Originally, I was thinking the Terminator was gonna be kinda lame, but the new trailer for that blew me away.

I loved the first Transformers, so I am definitely watching that day one....and Wolverine I have pretty low expectations for, but it's fucking Hugh Jackman and he *IS* Wolverine to me.

Wolverine: Looking forward to this. They've done an admirable job with the franchise so far (yes, I enjoyed Last Stand), and the trailers look like more quality stuff. Plus, I'm pumped to see Gambit. Still not convinced about Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool, especially seeing a maskless glimpse of him in the trailer.

Star Trek: I'm not foaming at the mouth over this one or anything, but it has me quite intrigued. I'm a life-long casual Trekkie, so I'd like to see

Land of the Lost: Couldn't care less. Never watched the original, an I'm incredibly tired of Will Ferrell.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: First one was awful on a level that I felt like my intelligence was being insulted just by watching it. Mindless is one thing...but this was just insipid. As for the sequel, I'll admit it looks slightly better - and the effects will be incredible, to be sure - but I wouldn't be caught dead watching it.

Terminator Salvation: I flip-flop on this one. On one hand, the trailers look fantastic and Bale is one of my favourite actors...but on the flipside, the plot sounds horrible, and honestly? Does the world really need another Terminator flick?

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Meh. Kind of enjoyed the first one when it first came out (I was 11), but never bothered with the sequel. Will likely follow suit with this one.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Stopped reading the books after #5, so I dont know much about this one outside of the oft-spoiled ending. I'll have to catch this one eventually - the first 4 were all solid - but I need to get around to watching Order of the Phoenix first. No rush for me, thanks.

G.I. Joe: The original toys/cartoons were before my time, so I have no real attachment to this one. Looks like a pretty decent, hyper-stylized action flick, no more no less. I'll probably watch it eventually.

Public Enemies: Most exciting one on the list. Love ganger flicks, and the idea of Depp and Bale together is enough to give this perfectly straight film geek a hard-on a mile long. You can bet I'll be there opening day.

Inglourious Basterds: I dont care what anyone says...in my opinion, Tarantino hasn't made a bad movie yet. Self-absorbed to be sure, but I love his style (even if it is lifted in pieces from a bunch of other artists). Awesome cast, great plot for a Tarantino flick, and what looks like some (surprisingly) cool atmosphere, based on set pics. Cannot wait.
