Help in remembering a movie

Hello everyone. Bear with me, as I'm using what little memory of this movie I have. In actuality, it's only a clip I remember.

The scene is two soldiers (maybe in fatigues with gear). It's two people, men I believe. They're walking in some underground cemetary cave. They're walking down the hall, carrying some kinda light I think. There are these square concrete hole-coverings along the walls to their left and right as they walk down the hall. They stop at one and open one. One guy sticks his head in, and the other guy holds his body. As the guy looks in, he's way up above what I THINK was some kinda graveyard. Maybe. It's so blurry for me I can't remember every detail. Anyways, the guy has his head in this thing, looking down. The area inside seems very open and spacious, but black like the night. From the ground below, a light starts ascending to the guy. Like a rocket was shot at him. The light hits him and apparently blows his head off. The guy who was holding him pulls him back out the whole and the other guy's head is gone; the neck is smoking like it was just blown off. The guy holding him looks at this and screams.... and that's all I remember.

I know this isn't very accurate, believe me. This was so long ago, and the images I remember are blurred and askewed. I've done my best to give the details I can remember. I hope this rings a bell for someone, anyone. I have had this movie in my head for YEARS, and have always been troubled by it. I want to know what movie this was so I can watch it and just clear my mind of it. It's like an unclosed chapter in my mind. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

? You must be mistaken. I just now checked back to my post to see if there was a reply. I have yet to research the movie you suggested, so I don't know if that is the right one or not. But I DO thank you quite kindly for offering a title to check. I'll look it up. I do hope it's the one. This has messed with me for years. Thanks for the help, and please; in the future, don't be so hesitant to fish for a thank you. I'm no stranger to forums, and give due thanks to people who help. I'll have to watch the movie in it's entirety to understand what exactly went on, but for now I am quite satiated. Again thank you so very, very much. I have another movie I'd like to ask for help with, and since this thread doesn't haved a movie-specific title (and to alleviate unneccesary over-posting) I would post it here. So here goes.


Again, not too sure about the validity of these memories. This movie had a bit of sci-fi in it, as it does involve aliens of some kind. I remember a man and a woman. I believe they were scientists, but they were at work researching and studying this space craft. The ship in question was a little taller than a man, and was either egg-shaped or round. White was the color, I believe. It was located in a cave. I think it may have been excavated. I remember for a long time at the beginning of the movie the two people were working on a way to open the ship or get inside. After some time they do. I believe it was the man. I think he got inside and started seeing weird colors or signs, as if being inside and seeing something made him shocked or scared. Maybe he was having visions of the pilots, I'm not too sure. I know that the person siside the craft was getting scared very badly.

I know that was even more vague than my last request, but it's all I have to work with. But, as fast and bang-on as you were with the last title, this may be just as easy for you. Thanks again in advance, and MANY thanks again for the last help.
