Question IDENTIFY: zombies/skeletons, brown, break into dust, sterile white rooms

Hello all, new here and hoping one of you can help me out! I've decided to go on a quest to find out what the hell this movie is called if it's the last thing I ever do!!!

I have been searching for YEARS... I'm talking about since I was maybe 5 or 6 years old, which would have been around 1987-1990. I had a baby sitter who put me to bed, I snook out of bed and into the living room and hid behind a recliner chair and watched whatever movie she was watching.

It seemed to be a horror movie (at least to me it was... I was five or six I think) of some sort. I remember very white "lab" rooms, just sterile white rooms, and people or "scientists/doctors" in white coats. Maybe they had on face masks... I'm not sure. I remember skeletons or zombies that were brown in color I think... I remember they broke apart or crumbled into dust.

Being 25 years old now, this is the only memory I have of this movie but, ever since I was a kid I have wondered what the heck it was!!!

If you have any ideas what this might be, please do share!

It could have been many things...movie, TV show, commercial for skin care. I suggest you try Repressed Memory Therapy [RMT]. Not 100% affective as the recovered memory may be metaphorical or emanate from dreams or fantasies.

or

You could look up your old babysitter and ask her?

When I think of that time period and sterile white rooms + scientists all I can think of is Day of the Dead... sorry.

In The Andromeda Strain there are scientists in a sterile lab and the people exposed to the disease get all dried out...it might be what you're looking for.
