Name Of Movie?

There was a horror movie I remember reading about a while ago, and I want to pick it up but I forgot the title. It had a guy and his wife driving and they stopped for some reason, and the wife got out and never came back. A couple years later the guy got a letter or a phone call from a guy who said he knows what happened to his wife, and it had something to do with being buried alive. Does anyone know the title?

Sounds like Spoorloos, or the USA remake, the Vanishing.
Both directed by the same guy I think...they end completely differently though.

Phalanx has it, watch them both as they're both great movies (although one is better).
