Sevendust

I know that a lot of you here don't really like the style of music this band plays, but I'm curious if ANYONE listens to this group. I just started listening to them a lot recently and I really enjoy the lyrics and some of the tunes.

Lajon has a fucking fantastic voice. Patton aside, I can't think of a metal singer with a better singing voice.

I saw Sevendust in '98 along with Kid Rock opening for Candlebox.

I'm not really sure why I was there, but Sevendust was ok.

I like the Lynn Straight tribute song "Angel's Son", I think it was just the singer and not the whole band though.

most good musicians die too young, it's bands like motley crue that last forever and influence horrible fashion spurs for decades to come. :(

I have a couple of their songs on compilation albums, but I usually skip through them. Just not my kind of music I guess.
