Island Monster is pretty poor. Scared to Death with Lugosi is tons of fun. Love the unnecessary fades. Karloff is very good in the Snake People, which I think is underappreciated. Lugosi of course is in Glen or Glenda and Plan 9 late in his career, and both of these are heartily recommended. As for Karloff, you can't go wrong with the Raven (the Corman Raven). Any movie where Vincent Price zaps a man with puppies and Jack Nicholson prances around in silly renfair dress gets a ten in my book.

Hi Chris:
I'm really into the CasaNegra films out recently...Witch's Mirror, The Black Pit of Dr. M. Also, Horror Hotel, Burn Witch Burn, The Head, Witchcraft w/ Lon Chaney Jr., Fearless Vampire Killers is Polanksi & Tate, humorous but still really great thrills, Eye of the Devil with Sharon Tate is great...umm...so many more. Mad Love with Peter Lorre, "M" w/ Lorre, etc. etc. Chris:) |

The CasaNegra stuff is great. I can't say it enough. And as for Lorre...my sentiments are pretty obvious.

Peter Lorre is a god. He doesn't get damn near enough respect.
