Original Star Treks get the Remastered treatment.

:)

I've put off getting the originals for such a long time. So I may be swayed to get them when these are released. :D

Also heard, they're going to get a Hd-Dvd and Blu-Ray release.

On Uk terrestrial TV they've been showing a few of the older Trek films recently, managed to catch a few of them. They've rekindled my interest in the older series.

I claimed for decades that I was not a Star Trek fan and only watched it occasionally because "it was there." But I finally came around and admitted to myself that "Star Trek is always a good hamburger," meaning that like certain fast food chains, Star Trek basically always delivers a certain level of quality at least, and can be depended upon. Only once or twice has it sunk to really horrible depths, and that's not bad.

I like the remastered original series TV episodes--they look and sound fantastic! And several of the movies are big favorites. I like the Director's Version of the first movie. And I liked Insurrection quite a bit. I get slapped a lot for that because apparently a lot of people think Insurrection is lame, but I don't care, I enjoyed it.

I may have to pick this up. Been getting a bit nostalgic as of late [ must be my age ] and find myself drawn to the old TV shows and movies of my youth. I want to get "The Wild Wild West" 1st season and "Get Smart" is also on my list.
