Useful sites for writers?

I know about moviebytes.com & breakingin.net, but does anyone know if there are any other good websites out there with useful articles, interviews, screenplay contest lists and general advice for aspiring writers out there?

http://www.wga.org/ - you need to register your scripts here, you can do it online and you need not be a guild member to do so.

http://www.wordplayer.com/welcome.html - Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio's (Pirates of the Carribean) website with all sorts of tips (especially good are their treatment formats)

http://www.script-o-rama.com/snazzy/dircut.html - free online scripts to read

http://www.newsoftheweird.com/archive/ - for inspiration

hope this helps

And by the way... I have a (probably stupid) question for ya....

Let's say I register a script, but then rewrite parts of it. Would I need to re-register it? Or does 1 registration cover re-writes as well?

one registration will do it. Rewrites are an understood variable in the life of a script, but as long as the lead characters and general storyline aren't changed, there's no need to re-register.
