It's All True or .... Well Maybe Not!
I recently read that there are a few new films which may well be made soon :
A new Jaws, Halloween (directed or produced by Rob Zombie) and a new take on Friday the 13th. (remake?) This may be old news to most of you; just wondering if there was any truth in the above or simple rumours.

The only one that I'm aware of is Zombie doing a prequel to
Halloween. As far as the other ones I wouldn't be suprised, Hollywood seems to have run out of original ideas when it comes to horror.

The F13 rumor has been floating around for ages, look around the Upcoming Horror Movies folder and you'll find a couple threads on both that and the Rob Zombie Halloween.
This is the first that Ive heard of a new Jaws though.

I read that the Jaws (5) was going to be either directed or produced by Steven Speilberg and that Richard Dreyfuss was going to be in it. (Possibly more of a re-imagined Jaws rather than a new one) and the shark effects would be the old style robotics/mechanics rather than CGI. It was scheduled for release sometime in '07, haven't heard anything else though.
