Some Movie I can't remember
Ok, so I saw a movie. And I was reminded of it tonight. And I can describe it in pretty decent detail, but can't seem to find it online via google or other searches. Hopefully someone else out there knows their movies better than I do...
So here goes. It's halloween night, and two teenage couples decide to go sneak into the old abandoned mental hospital. There's also a cop (Danny Glover? Morgan Freeman?) who's there because he sees the son of his dead partner go in... and something about someone looking for thier sister, who's been missing for a few days after going there (maybe the son of the dead cop)... Anyway, there is a blonde girl among the couples whose mother had passed away from cancer, and who still calls the girl on halloween night every year... This girl ends up having various visions throughout the movie. The first being a woman throwing a set of keys out a window... which the girl picks up... So the teenagers go into the hospital, and head up to the third floor (where the bad haunting is supposedly happening...) and they, including a friend who went ahead to set up some pranks to scare the girls with, all start getting killed... the premise is something about the supernatural things can infect (by biting?) people... who then slowly get sick and become monsters too, unless they just get killed, in which case they come back... The cop gives them a gun, goes after some of them that got separated, the psychic girl has visions showing how the fire killed a lot of patients and employees because a really evil man was trying to use the fire to get out (something about a guy dragging/luring a little girl (redhead?) into a closet at the hospital... There's a scene where one of the guys has to shoot his friend (that was setting pranks up) because he'd turned evil... and he then kills another character (who wasn't evil/monster) because he wasn't sure. There's some scenes of them running around in the sewers under the hospital (how the cop got in?) being chased by the zombie/monster versions of thier friends and other people... and there's stuff with the elevator only going to the 3rd floor... There are some more cliches - the blonde ends up spending lots of time with her friend's boyfriend (because their girlfriend/boyfriend had been seeing each other behind the teh blond and friend's boyfriend's backs...), they get the key out of the building, so the bad spirit can't get out... etc... please help! Thank you VERY much

or maybe The Dead Pit? hmm...not sure, but the plot seems familiar...I ve definitely seen this one... what say, Urge?
