Trimming Down!

I've been going thru my film collection getting rid of stuff that I don't really need (stuff that just plain sucked or that I know I'll never watch again). I think I've got rid of a good third of my films now. Just about got my stuff down to be realistically able to move cheaply in a couple of months.

I wish I had that sort of will power. I can't bear to get rid of any of my movies - and that's including ones that I have doubles of (eg bought the movie, and then later a double feature with that movie on it, or a boxset), or pure shit that I know I will never watch again.

I like thinning the collection out--not when I'm doing it, but afterwards, when the crap has been given away/sold/tossed. Then the shelf looks all happy and good because it only has decent movies on it.

Yeh its kinda a hard process.... especially when you know you're not gonna see a copies of a lot of that stuff again. But its worth it. Its crazy the ammount of shit that builds up over the years.

Yeah no doubt.

Why aren't you guys offering some of this cool stuff to us for sale?

When I sold Cannibal Holocaust, Gates of Hell & Zombie I put 'em on here for sale a week before I tried Ebay & kpro snapped them up. I thought it was great that someone I know will really dig them got a chance to have first dibs on it.

I'd be interested in taking a loook at anyones 'for sale' lists of movies, toys or music.

I still think we need a Trade/buy/sell forum. Hell, it'd surely be more active than some of the forums that already exist.

I know I'd check it out constantly. I'm always looking to snag some goodies!

We've already discussed this in another thread somewhere. Everyone thinks it's a good idea, but the problem is that no one has capability to do that except for Horror and he's basically unreachable. *shrug*
