Sam (the egg)'s Top 100
Alright Sambo, i took a gander today and had some dissagreements and some (more it appears) agreements with your top 100.....not saying you're wrong or anything.....just wanted to see everyones opinion....
First of all let me start with movies that ARE on there that i completely agree with.... Taxi Driver Casablanca 12 Angry Men Seven Goodfellas (mad props) Psycho Monty Pythons Holy Grail (left out of EVERYONES top 100, nice to see it here, surely one of the funniest movies ever) Pink Floyd's the wall 2001 Clockwork Orange (meh, i would have had it higher, but its MY kind of movie really) Donnie Darko One Flew over the CooCoo's Nest Exorcist AKIRA (FUCKING MAD PROPS HERE! GREAT FUCKING ANIME!!) Fight Club Ghostbusters (nice....) Resevior Dogs (but that far down? Come on its better than that) Being John Malcovich (watched yesterday:D ) Stand By Me American History X The Birds Pi (very nice) Terminator Planet of the apes (dont really like, but its a classic) NOW The movies i would NOT include....JMHO mind you.... Momento (while i like it alot, not in my top 100) Usual Suspects (and i LOVE kevin spacy) Dogman (meh) Pulp Fiction( THATS RIGHT I SAID IT! IT HAD TO BE SAID! Its good and everything, great characters, but Resevoir Dogs is SO superior its not even funny) Almost Famous ( a tough call, good fucking movie, but...) Scarface (see pulp fiction.....most over rated gangster movie...good, but not that fucking good) Gangs of New York (the historical Inaccuracies are worse than Amadeus:eek: ) This is Spinal Tap (a fucking CLASSIC, but not a fav...) Dawn of the Dead (original or remake, not a huge zombie fan, and NOTLD owns it) Dark City (GREAT fucking music, good movie, saw in the theaters, but the ending......) Black Hawk Down (no thanks) From Dusk Till Dawn (oh god, i cant STAND this movie....the effects, george cloony, the vampires, UGH) Suicide Kings (also watched yesterday......good fucking movie, cheap buy, but not great, fucking GREAT ending tho) Ruroni Kenshin (i watched a bit, and the movie.....the character is kinda clitched in anime, see trigun etc. for exampls, you need to watch BERSERK man......ruroni kenshin but evil and unstopable and with a 10 footish sword, trust me) Evil Dead (flame on, the whole trilogy, along with Bruce Campbell's career in general, are overated) Training Day (kinda a random entry isnt it?) Kill Bill (vastly dissapointed) Alright, now for some fucking great movies that SHOULD have been in there, In my opinion..... Batman Beetlejuice FUCKING TRUE ROMANCE (and you had pulp fiction and suicide kings:confused: ) THE ROCK (the best action movie of all time) The Evangeleon Movie (dont worry, no one will know what this is until the hollywood remake comes out in a year or so....itll suck too, then go back and watch the anime....and loose your mind like i did) REQUEIM FOR A DREAM The Shining Full Metal Jacket Edward Sissorhands TITUS Aliens The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) TOMBSTONE Legend NATURAL BORN KILLERS (i thought FOR SURE youd have this one) The nightmare before xmas (classic) The last of the mohicans (omg GREAT MOVIE.....that last scene with the father...truely powerful) Braveheart (yaya) Immortal Beloved (GARY OLDMAN AS BEETHOVEN) Amadues Bram Stokers Dracula (GARY OLDMAN AS DRACULA.....BITCH!!) Highway (1056 Dicks, Jack.....) Freeway (sick, movie...fucking great) FUCKING EQUILIBRIUM (i cant BELIEVE you forgot that) AMERICAN PSYCHO Velvet Goldmine GATTICA and last but not least THE TRANSFORMERS MOVIE (ORSON WELLS, LINARD NEMOY, ERIC IDLE AND JUDD NELSON of breakfast club fame) Nice list tho....and you do have some fucking great movies on there....but no ones list is gonna be the same....

WOO WOOOO!!!! what i been saying this whole time! anyone watch 'van hellsing'? i love how their dracula tried to copy him exactly. punk i can say though i havent seen most those movies. well ive probabyl seen half. DIEING to see the animes but probably wont happen....

I liked them alot but was absolutely confused about some of it by the time it was over. Now this hollywood remake, is it to be live action? I think that would suck.
