SCARIEST MOVIE SEARCH.....please help!

Can you guys help......the only scary movie for me was the Exorcist and I have NOT been able to find something that compares to that movie ! I've taken some advice from people who I probably shouldn't have and saw that movie, "The Thing"......what a DUMB movie....I was laughing ! I saw "The Innocents".....it was a black and white flick......totally STUPID ! And I'm sorry to offend those who like Friday the 13th......but that stuff isn't scary AT ALL for me. Can anyone give me a list of REALLY SCARY movies ?!?! THANKS !! Jen

Alien gave me nightmares my whole life. Every few months I have a dream with one of those things in it to this day....and if that doesn't work for you then watch "Beaches" with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey....that'll give ya nightmares...

I don't understand someone's reply ? Market research ?
I am new to horror.com, I just registered today......I came upon it after searching google. Me a kid ?? I'm a 29 year old female......nice try though. No really, I'm looking for truly scary movies......I want to start a collection and need either great classics, (must be comparable to Exorcist) or newer stuff. Maybe along the lines of Hostel.....anyone see that by the way ?
