A well deserved thank you.
I just finished watching the television news broadcast about the 12 year-old who made the threats. I know you all have received a lot of attention about this incident and I apologize for adding another post to your forums about it, but I think some things need to be expressed.
First off anyone from PA or anywhere else for that matter who gives this web site negative attention and blames the threats on an interest and genre, is a clueless twit. If it wasn't for this site we'd most likely have another school masacre. Also for the user who has bashed the users of this forum and the interest of horror movies... the news broadcast had an interview with the woman who reported this incident, and yes she is indeed an adult who frequents here... and a hero in my eyes and the eyes of the local residents around here. Please keep your mindless comments out of here, and give the horror.com community the praise they respectfully deserve. Finally i'd like to personally thank all of the members of horror.com for your quick thinking and also just for being around here enjoying your hobby and preventing what could have been a tragic ending. Thanks to you all from myself and the locals around here. You all deserve it, and enjoy your forums and web site, and pay no mind to any negative attention you receive from this incident. Thanks. Hey man thanks alot. We're all really worried somebodies gonna blame our site and shut us down but we did everything we could to talk to freddy. We all tried to help and several of us really talked to the kid and gave him good long winded speeches about it.
We're just glad things turned out the way they did and everyone is ok. Lets hope freddy fan gets the help he needs and send our prayers out to the parents.And once again, to allmykids who reported it, she really is a hero here and we owe everything to her. Thank you so much for not blameing the site, and your heartfelt response. We all really appreciate it.
