The Last Man On Earth (1964)

Am I the only one who thinks this is one of the best Vincent Price movies ever? or possible best horror movie.

I've always preferred VP in 'The Pit and the Pendulum' but I do really like 'Last Man on Earth' too.

I didn't really enjoy this one that much - i mean it still had vinny in which is always a bonus and it was quite dark, but i love a nice fat pile of 'Theatre of Blood' and 'House on Haunted Hill' topped up with a touch of 'phibes.

I liked Last Man on earth enough to buy it, but I don't know if I'd call it his best film, and I definately DO know that I wouldn't call it the best horror movie, but that's just my opinion.

the last man on earth

i saw this movie about a year ago...i thought I had seen all of Vincent Prices' films...but this one was so different...I came to think that that it is his best as close as he could have come to playing himself. He was the best...well, one of the best. I think 1. BORIS KARLOF 2. VINCENT PRICE 3 BELA LUGOSI 4. PETER CUSHING 5. CHRISTOPHER LEE

I like the part in the narration when Price says, "They want my BLOOD..." with that extra-clever Vincent Price relish, almost as if he's enjoying thinking about his vampire enemies, in a sick way...!

Hey, I haven't seen last man on Earth yet. Looks like that's another DVD to add to my ever expanding wanted list!
