Quake 4

Ok...need some advice on whether or not to buy this thing.

I LOVED quake, and think quake 2 is still one of the better shooters out there...quake 3 pissed me off on account of having no mission based singleplayer mode...so, now that quake 4 supposedly has a "mission" mode that follows on to quake 2, my interest has been sufficiantly thrown back it's way.

The screenshots look great, but you can really never tell...so, if anyone's played this game, tell me...is it worth playing? Ginne some info and a quick review if ya can.

(If all else fails, there's always F.E.A.R)

played it, it's good, but the game is too short. There's plenty of different enemies and some great weapons with good damage effects. Also on the plus side, the levels are a lot lighter than doom III, so you can see what your doing.

Eh, I think I need a new pc...got the demo, and it didn't run very smoothely, even on 640 x 480. I got a 9200SE card in my machine and heaps of memory....but hey, apparently something causes it to run slow, I'd have thought that would be enough.
Looked good though.
Funny, Far Cry ran on the same pc just fine...yet this runs slow, I know its a little newer, but...weird all the same.
